The Minnesota Wireless Association relies completely on financial donations to support the organization in its award programs and operational costs. These programs help MWA promote Radiosporting in Minnesota and the surrounding area. MWA also manages the Minnesota QSO Party, which is funded by the sponsors of the event. Minnesota Wireless Association is a non-profit organization as described in Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. All contributions from U.S. residents are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

- ARRL Sweepstakes SSB Dakota Division Single Operator plaques (4)
- ARRL RTTY Roundup Dakota Division Single Operator plaques (4)
- Team Competition Medals (roughly 40)
- Website and other operation expenses
