County Route Map
Rover comments:
We prefer to go the SSB route more than CW. We haven't found a lack
of contacts and we seem to rack up decent totals. We hang out on 75, 40, and 20M
mostly and we've had good sig reports. Scott, NØUV, Charlie, KØSV, and
maybe one or two more ops will be doing a route similar to last year.
2010 County route:
Benton, Morrison, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Aitkin

County Route Map
Rover comments:
Taty, (WØ/)OA4ABC, and Rolf, NRØT, will be running a lot of SSB
as a Mobile - Single Transmitter entry this year. Jon, WØZQ, and Mark, WAØMHJ,
have kindly set us up with their "GOTA Mobile station". Route plan was revised on Feb 5th.
2010 County route:
Dakota, Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona, Houston, Filmore, Mower, Freeborn, Waseca, Steele, Rice
KØPC
County Route Map With APRS
Rover comments:
Pat KØPC and John W9DND will be teaming up again this year. The route will be a
repeat of the one used over the last few years. Now we have no excuse for getting lost. New this year is
the logging program. In the past WriteLog was the logger. This year we are using CQ/X from NO5W. It ties
into a GPS to make automatic county line changes. We tried it out in the IA QSO Party last fall and worked
the kinks out of the operator so we should be ready to go. APRS tracking: KØPC-9.
2010 County route:
Le Sueur, Sibley, Nicollet, Brown, Redwood, Cottonwood, Murray, Lyon, Lincoln, Pipestone, Rock, Nobles, Jackson,
Martin, Watonwan, Blue Earth, Faribault, Freeborn, Waseca, Steele, & Rice.

NØEO
County Route Map With APRS
Rover comments:
Once again I will be doing the Northern route as NĜEO. See you on the
bands barring any severe weather. Too much distance between towns up there! APRS
tracking: NØEO-9
2010 County route:
Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Roseau, Kittson, Marshall, Pennington,
Red Lake, Polk, Mahnomen, Clearwater, Hubbard, Cass, Itasca, Aitkin
NE9U
County Route Map
Rover comments:
As usual, I will be tentaive for the MNQP as my usual big work deadline
is the Friday before the contest....but it just gives me incentive to work hard! But
someone else could always cause me grief and mess up the schedule.....
Anyway, we tried a slightly new route last year and because we are not too imaginative,
we are going to try it again. We missed the last 3 counties on the list last year
because of the "antenna falling off of the Jeep" problem we had. We either need to
bring a spare antenna or extra duct tape! Route modified 31 Jan. Scott NE9U & Art N9BCA
2010 County route:
Houston, Winona, Fillmore, Olmsted, Mower, Freeborn, Dodge, Steele, Waseca
Faribault, Martin, Blue Earth, Watonwan, Brown, Nicollet, Sibley, Renville, McLeod,
Wright, Meeker, Stearns, Sherburne, Benton, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Pine,
Isanti
NØIJ
County Route Map With APRS
Rover comments:
We are planning the same route as the last 3 years. We will be on APRS again
and the coverage is pretty good considering the remoteness of some of these counties. We
will hit 80M at some point in each county. Terry's venerable Tahoe odometer is now over
260K, so here's hoping. APRS tracking: NØIJ-9. John NØIJ & Terry WØTVD
2010 County route:
Itasca, Cass, Hubbard, Beltrami, Clearwater, Polk, Red Lake, Polk (#2), Mahnomen,
Norman, Clay, Becker, Ottertail, Wadena, Todd, Morrison, Cass (#2), Crow Wing, Mille Lacs,
Kanabec, Aitkin, Pine, Carlton, St. Louis, Lake, Cook
WØZQ
County Route Map With APRS
Rover comments:
As a one-man rover, my initial plans are to cover these eight counties in this
order. This is only eight counties compared to eleven counties that I activated last year,
but this year I plan to operate 75M and 40M fone in the morning and evening hours and 40M
and 20M fone during the afternoon hours along with CW. I may also give 15M a try mid day.
I suspect that this change in tactics will result in a smaller score, but it may increase
the fun factor...
I plan to oerate around the Pine Island area to activate the Dodge/Olmsted/Wabasha/Goodhue
corner, then hop on Hwy 52 north bound to west Hwy 86 just north of Cannon Falls to pick
up the Le Sueur/Scott/Rice/Dakota group between I-35 and New Prague. APRS tracking: WØZQ-15.
2010 County route:
Dodge, Olmsted, Wabasha, Goodhue, Dakota, Rice, Scott, Le Sueur
NØIM
County Route Map With APRS
Rover comments:
The plan is to run the same route as last year, however I still need to fix my
antenna. Though not as long in the tooth as Terry's Tahoe, my Highlander recently hit the
century mark joining several others in the 'senior' ranks. APRS tracking: NØIM-9.
Dick, NØIM & John, AF9T
2010 County route:
Cook, Lake, St Louis, Carlton, Pine, Kanabec, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Benton, Sherburne, Wright,
Carver, Mc Leod, Meeker, Kandyohi, Stearns, Todd, Morrison, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs(#2), Kanabec(#2), Aitkin
